BROWNIE CHOCOLATE EXPLOSION Rock band nata nel 2012 con l'aggiunta della voce graffiante di Enrico De Bertolini al trio formato da Jacopo Salvaterra, Nicola Pedretti e Maurizio Viviani, amici di lunga data che fin da giovanissimi hanno condiviso molte esperienze e progetti musicali. I tre, infatti, hanno fatto parte per molti anni dei The Butterfly Effect, mentre Enrico e Jacopo avevano già suonato insieme nel duo acustico Jam Express. Fin da subito è stato chiaro che la voce di Enrico si sarebbe inserita perfettamente nel nuovo gruppo Brownie Chocolate Explosion, tanto da creare un'ottima sintonia tra tutti i componenti. In breve tempo i quattro sono riusciti a trovare molte idee che si sono concretizzate in brani originali. Lo stile del gruppo affonda le radici nel rock anni 70/80, nel blues, nel funk, nel grunge, nel pop, ma risulta difficile e riduttivo etichettarlo in un unico genere. Ad ottobre 2014 è uscito il loro primo album, "BCEx", disponibile anche online al seguente link: https://bcexplosion.bandcamp.com Nel 2015 sentono il bisogno di nuovi stimoli e si trasferiscono per un periodo a Londra, in cui hanno la possibilità di venire a contatto con molti musicisti e influenze musicali differenti, oltre che con un pubblico notevolmente diverso rispetto a quello italiano. Tornati in Italia, partecipano al prestigioso Rock Im Ring 2015 prima di gruppi del calibro di Refused e Kraftklub. A fine estate 2015 sostituiscono il batterista con il nuovo entrato Stefano Malchiodi. Attualmente continua la loro attività live, oltre al lavoro in studio per la realizzazione di nuovi inediti. ------------------------------------------------------------- English version: Rock band born in 2012, when the sharp voice of Enrico De Bertolini was added to the trio formed by Jacopo Salvaterra, Nicola Pedretti and Maurizio Viviani. The three old friends have always played together and joined several bands since they were teenagers. Indeed, they had formed the band “The Butterfly Effect”, while Enrico and Jacopo had already played together in the acoustic duo called “Jam Express”. From the beginning it was clear that Enrico’s amazing voice would have perfectly suited the new band “Brownie Chocolate Explosion” and created a great harmony among the four members. They managed very quickly to compose some tracks which became songs. The style of the band has its roots in 70’s/80’s rock, in blues, funk, grunge, pop, but it is difficult and reductive to inscribe it within an only genre. In October 2014 the band released the first album, "BCEx", available online at this link: https://bcexplosion.bandcamp.com In 2015 they decide to move to London for a period to experience a totally different atmosphere: people, musicians and influences. After that, they come back to Italy and participate to the prestigious festival Rock Im Ring 2015, playing on the same stage of bands like Refused and Kraftklub. At the end of the summer they change the drummer with the new entry Stefano Malchiodi. They are currently playing live and working on new studio material.
