Lindberg's is proud to welcome Boston soul singer Ingrid Gerdes! After a 15 year hiatus Springfield native Ingrid Gerdes and her band will fly in from Boston for a one night only performance to celebrate the music of “High Priestess,” with the area that helped inspire the record.Ingrid's gospel-meets-R&B voice has earned her more than one comparison to greats like Irma Thomas and Mavis Staples, and the title of her new album, High Priestess, helps conjure images of a vocalist trained in a Mississippi Delta choir loft, spending Sundays praising the Lord and raising the roof.Actually, Gerdes spent more time serenading house pets than heaven while growing up growing up in the Ozarks town of Springfield, Mo. — an area known for its natural beauty. In fact, she used the four elements essential to all life — earth, air, fire and water — as inspiration for High Priestess. The result is both cool and hot, breezy and still, and imbued with a southern blues-rock sensibility that adds a shot of sass to her hot- buttered-soul, Dusty-in-Memphis delivery.

Ingrid Gerdes Biography
Boston-based singer-songwriter, Ingrid Gerdes, who was born and raised in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri and Arkansas, offers southern-soul charged blues and effortless approachability to all she creates and performs.
A classically trained vocalist, Gerdes achieved acclaim as an opera singer while at the same time she was honing her skills fronting rock and blues bands. Meanwhile forays into acting yielded several Best Actress nods as well as starring in an Emmy winning commercial.
An impressive singer with a soulful style that leaves an indelible impression from the first note, Gerdes is also a first class songwriter and inventive arranger and producer. She has composed and performed on three full length studio albums, and countless collaborations, with plans to release another series of compositions in upcoming months.
Of Shed, Steve Morse of Rolling Stone and Billboard writes "Ingrid's command, her presence and her skill are all world class. This album should crack a lot of Top Ten lists this year if people hear it.''
Ingrid was invited to perform on NPRs All Things Considered, her songs have been featured on Showtime, MTV, and in retail locations worldwide, and has accumulated an impressive display of vocal and songwriting awards.
Ingrid also performs with the Video Game Orchestra, and has written and performed on many songs for the international Gaming industry.
She recently completed her MBA in Music Business with plans to create more live music experiences across the world.
