Chafu N Goma

This Drum and Bass duo consists of Maikel Stoffelen and Robbert de Mie. Before entering the Drum and Bass scene, they first began with Fidget House. They bought their first DJ set in 2010 and started DJ-ing. After a short while, they switched to the breakbeat scene which is what got them familiar with Drum and Bass. Drum and Bass became their passion and a new era for Chafu N Goma began. Fun fact; Before naming their selves Chafu N Goma, they went by different names. They chose the name Chafu N Goma after a visit to some friends in Kenya. Chafu N Goma is actually kiswahilli for ''dirty drums'' and is in fact written as two words; chafu ngoma and pronounced as one. After the Kenya adventure they really kicked off and started producing. From here on out they went viral among the Drum and Bass scene in Eindhoven, in the south of the Netherlands. They won two DJ contests and started getting more and more bookings. Up until now, they performed at Solar Weekend, Jera on Air, Hall of Fame, Doornroosje to name a few. Since 2014 they have been residents for Eindhoven’s finest Drum and bass concept called Breek, which got them playing alongside the finest DJ’s around the globe. Chafu N Goma are developing their own style and there aim is to channel their life experience into their productions and move the audience with their passion for Drum and Bass.
