Though, the bulk of death metal deals with some pretty grisly subject matter, few bands' sounds match their contempt for religion as well as Buried By Lakeshore. Purveyors of savage deathcore, the band's sound pairs lyrical misanthropy with pure sonic destruction, creating an assault on both the senses and sensibilities of listeners. Made up of frontman Brody Coffin, guitarist Calogero Zito (also known for his work as a producer), guitarist Cristian Opinca, drummer Chris Michails and bassist Wayne Chase. Buried By Lakeshore made their first debut in 2014 with the release of their EP Purge, putting them on the radar in Toronto's metal scene.
