Last Chance Casanova Biography

Last Chance Casanova, the break through American Rock Band from Joplin Mo Is back! The voice of the first Last Chance (Alex Fuhr) carries on with a whole new sound and three new faces. Cody Morris killing the guitar, Will Blessent banging the bass, and Logan Glasgow slapping some skins, brings something you’ve never heard. LCC has a variety of influences from, “The Black Keys” and “Queens of the Stone Age” all the way to the “Deftones” and “Incubus”. LCC started in 2010, but things have changed dramatically since their unofficial release in 2012. Last Chance Casanova is currently working with Jeff Smith, finishing up their first official release, at the acclaimed Studio 2100 in Springfield, MO. LCC plans to release their EP mid-December 2014. The new Last Chance Casanova is comprised of 4 seasoned performers who have mastered their craft, each in his own way. Coming together in a dusty old shed to make a tight new sound that will be sure to turn heads in the industry! If you’re into hard hitting solos and soulful melodies, Last Chance Casanova is guaranteed to be your next favorite. Tour plans are already underway, armed with fresh gear from their sponsors at Guitar Center and a new tour bus; Last Chance Casanova is poised rocket to the top of the charts Spring 2015. Lead Vocals/Lead Guitar/Keys; Alex Fuhr of Joplin Mo. has been deeply immersed in the arts for many years. By the age of 5, Fuhr’s father had enrolled him into vocal and piano lessons. At 7, the violin and at 8 the guitar. His unique sound is the result of years of training under Professional Blues, Jazz and Rock musicians in the local and out reaching areas. Having a near death accident on a motorcycle in 2009 and being robbed for his entre musical instrument collection the same year, this performer has picked up the pieces more than a time or two. Despite the setbacks, Fuhr managed to tour across America with LA Natives “Cold 43” and “2hundred West” on the End of the World Tour 2012. The original line up of LCC played hundreds of shows from coast to coast as an indie act, but Fuhr is gearing up his rowdy new band of misfits to bring a much dirtier, more soulful sound to the world! Guitar: Cody Morris was born in Pittsburg Kansas August 23, 1988. He grew up in a small town in southeast Kansas and started playing guitar when he was just 15. He has played in two bands, Northern Lights and Pit-42 and has played hundreds of shows over years. He has always loved writing and playing music. His influences are blues and desert rock with Fuzzy guitar tones. He has had a long music career with the bass player and drummer of LCC which forms a solid, high energy sound that can be heard at the next Last Chance Casanova show. Bass/Vocals: Will Blessent of Weir KS began his musical journey at the age of 13 on guitar. He quickly switched his area of expertise just four years later at the age of 17. Will chose the bass to fill the only open position in his friends band “Alive Inside”; needless to say, it was the right decision. Blessent’s influences range from a wide array of rock and blues artists. Pulling a majority of his technique from the famed Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath, mixed with a little delta blues, Will’s unique style is sure to blow your mind! Mr. Blessent actually entered the music scene as a vocalist in “Northern Lights”, followed by bass in Alive Inside. More recently, Will played bass in Columbus, KS band “Pit 42”, getting his first taste of what it’s like to have his original rock music hit the radio waves in 2010. Early 2011, Will left the band to peruse higher education. In late July 2013, after moving back from Colorado, Will, Cody and Logan all former members of “Pit 42” began writing original rock songs in Logan’s living room. Some of these will be found on the new Last Chance Casanova EP. Drums: Logan Glasgow from Columbus, KS started his musical endeavors well over a decade ago and has been involved with projects in the 4-State area for the last 9 years. Logan has had a deep connection with drums since he was a child. It wasn’t until age 13, nearly 2 years after he began playing, that his parents helped him purchase his first drum set. Naturally he joined up with childhood friends to form his first original project, “Downfall in Paradise” of Columbus, KS. Two years later Glasgow became one of three founding members of “Pit 42” also from his hometown of Columbus, KS. While in “Pit 42” Logan made a name for himself in local radio interviews and also was an integral part of the newly emerging local music scene. His band released tracks on the area’s only rock station in 2010. In early 2011 after his departure from his hometown band, Logan loaned his talent in Joplin, MO based band “Story of Ghost”. In late 2012 Logan took a 8 month hiatus from music all together until his old bandmate Will Blessent (Pit 42) called from Colorado to announce he’d like to start a project. For the next 9 months Logan, Will, and Cody all former members of “Pit 42” wrote 13 songs with no singer, some of them being the first versions of the new songs on the new LCC EP set to release 12-13-14. Alex Fuhr (front man) met the guys one night in June and the collaboration began in July of 2014. Last Chance Casanova is back and better than ever! New sound, New songs and a Hot new fever coming at you like the Ebola Virus!
