One of the most dynamic artists to successfully cement his name into the Drum & Bass scene, Rhymestar already lays claim to several MC award nominations in recent years. Having performed in over 30 countries worldwide including the world famous Glastonbury Festival, Creamfields and Global Gathering, he is not prepared to take his foot off the gas. Rhymestar's aspirations to innovate within his field have seen him apply his vocal talents to not only DnB but Grime, Dubstep and Hip-Hop too. Often identified by an unstoppable flow replete with deep and meaningful lyrics, this recognisable talent is firing on all cylinders. Aside from Rhymestar’s busy tour schedule, he has been working extremely hard in the studio, collaborating with prestigious DnB DJs and producers. In fact there are very few DnB artists Rhymestar has not already worked with…. 2013 saw the online release of Rhymestar’s debut EP –‘Resorting to Rhyme,’ featuring artists like Stamina MC and none other than Spearhead Record’s head honcho BCee. The combination of soulful Drum and Bass and evocative lyrics is already attracting a colossal amount of hype around his name. Rhymestar also featured on ‘BANG’ and ‘Sublow Junkie’ on Danny Byrd’s last album ‘Golden Ticket on Hospital Records. As well as being the preferred MC for the likes of Danny Byrd, TC and many more, Rhymestar has cemented a solid relationship as Matrix & Futurebound’s MC, currently touring all over the UK and internationally, as well as a being a permanent fixture at the Viper Recordings tour nights. With a number of features on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra, the future is extremely exciting for this rising star, so sit back, buckle up and watch this space.
