About this concert
8:00 PM GMT+2
Chieko and Joost form an adventurous duo that moves between free improvisation and original compositions inspired by South American and Japanese folk traditions - from groovy rhythms to ethereal, meditative soundscapes.
With a rich palette of sounds - warm cello and vocal melodies, creative percussion and Brazilian folk instruments like the rabeca and double flute - they weave folk songs from around the world into an immersive musical journey.
