Artist bio
Taking their name from the Brazilian folklore of Iara, their music channels a mix of beauty and rage that never refrains from confronting the weight of reality. Lead vocalist, Malia, blurs the line between truth and imagination, weaving real experiences into grim worlds of fiction. Based out of Lancaster, PA, IARA meticulously crafts each song with their innovative production style and crushing breakdowns.
Following their debut release “CONSTRICTOR”, IARA’s upcoming single, “Siren Warfare”, tells the story of a warrior-woman turned mermaid and her pursuit for revenge.
