Artist bio
George Bone is an award-winning Essex & London-based artist, combining Pop & Folk songwriting with thought-provoking lyrics. On top of two headline shows in 2025, George has supported the likes of Molly Hocking, Conor McLain and Andrew Cushin across the UK. Building on a strong relationship with the BBC, George has been a Featured Artist on Essex & Cambs’ twice, played Jodie Bryant’s New Music Monday Stage (Radio 1) seven times and has played BBC Introducing live at the legendary Maida Vale. Three of George’s tracks have been made Track of the Week on BBC Essex & Cambs’, and - with more than 200,000 streams to his name, his debut EP on the way in late-2026, and on the back of recently being named the Social Media Presenter for YAMAHA Music London - George’s name is bound to travel further than just Essex.

26-year-old George Bone is an award-winning Essex & London-based artist. While a pop artist holistically, George combines Pop, Neo-Jazz & RnB elements together with his thought-provoking writing & lyrics. His artist’s inspirations reflect this, ranging from country icons such as Christ Stapleton and Dan + Shay, to the British-based Bruno Major, Eloise & Conor Albert. Accompanied by a band, George is energetic; accompanying himself on keys, however, and you’re provided with an emotional, interactive experience leaving attendees craving more.

This year alone, George is scheduled to have two London headline shows, and in the past has supported the likes of UK The Voice winner Molly Hocking (at sold-out shows in both Camden and Islington), and Andrew Cushin after coming back from an international tour with Louis Tomlinson. If that was not enough, George has taken part in Festivals across the country, darting from Berkshire (Wokingham Festival), to Greater London (Taste of London Festival), to Essex (Sounds Good Festival). To top this off, George has built a strong relationship with the BBC, being a Featured Artist on the Essex & Cambridgeshire Introducing circuit, and playing on Jodie Bryant’s New Music Monday stage at The Ned (Radio 1).

Amassing over 200,000 streams on Spotify alone, George is “on the cusp of tipping into the mainstream, this year or next” (Michelle Ward, PhoenixFM). Three of his six songs released to date - “One/Two Summer Fling”, “Yours Today”, ’Til The World Ends” - have been made Tracks of the Week on BBC Introducing Essex & Cambridgeshire. And the latter has received overwhelming international support: from The USA (Amazing Radio), to Switzerland (MM Radio). George has also played acoustic sets on both BBC Essex and BBC Cambridgeshire, as well as on Phoenix98.Fm.

On the back of being announced as the ‘Best Male Artist of the Year 2023’ (Radio Wigwam), being named a QH Sounds Rising Star, and having recently been named a Social Media Presenter with YAMAHA Music London and an Ambassador for un:hurd, George Bone’s name and sound is one to remember.
