About this concert

Picky New Promotions are proud to welcome back MARVIN'S REVENGE to shoe town for a headline gig at The Lab on Fri Oct 16! Marvin’s Revenge are a Nottingham-based rock band originally from rural Derbyshire, blending the grunge-fuelled noise of The Jesus Lizard, the dark melody of Pixies, and the post-hardcore experimentation of Fugazi. In 2025, they played shows in Bergen, Norway, appeared at New York City's New Colossus Festival, and closed the year with a major hometown headline show at The Level in Nottingham. Following their acclaimed 2023 EP VR Porn, the band released the single Hugs from Grandma in late 2024, backed by bonus tracks "Big Snake" and "Eating Flowers". Their 2025 EP Offer of Love showcases some of their strongest material yet, highlighting the band's dynamic songwriting and broad musical range. Supporting are local heroes HEADSWITCHER, Irish/Mancunian rockers GETNER, and Daventry/Birmingham band SKUM. Doors 7:30 pm. 14+ (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are £10 plus fees in advance for members or £11 plus fees in advance for non-members. If you purchase a members ticket, please be prepared to show Lab membership card OTD.
