Artist bio
Nottingham producer Filter Sequence’s audio-visual show covers everything from indiedance through to acid house, rave and dub. His sound is influenced by the music he was hearing in fields and clubs from 88-92. Filter Sequence uses synths, samplers, drum machines, live vocals and a 303 to create a right ravey knees up! For the last 8 years he has been rocking venues and fields across the UK including headline sets at Nottingham’s Boho, Dot 2 Dot and Deerstock festivals. In 2022, Filter Sequence started the promotions company Twisted Onion which has put on a number of gigs up and down the country. In 2023 the first Club Onion night was held, taking inspiration from the 90s Megadog events featuring a mix of live bands, electronic acts and DJs. The Nottingham events have grown rapidly and have included sold out shows with legendary acts including Banco de Gaia, Eat Static and Sunscreem. In addition to being featured on BBC Introducing, Filter Sequence is an in-demand remixer having remixed tracks by Seas of Mirth, Bloodworm, Tranks and Sancho Panza as well as collaborations with bands including Stuart Pearce and Pretty Windows. Filter Sequence's debut album "Infiltration" was released in 2026. Filter Sequence’s music and visuals have also been featured in art installations.
