Seattle genre-fluid punk band Beautiful Freaks was officially formed by childhood best friends Peter Bryson (drums) and James Bonaci (guitar/vox) in 2018 after playing together since middle school. Since then, Beautiful Freaks has grown a cult following within and beyond their local scene, earning a reputation for uncompromising musicianship, chaotic stage presence, and an ever-shifting sound. Newly joined by Autumn Marceau (vocals) and Yoel Boxer (bass), Beautiful Freaks has continued to carve their own niche through dynamic vocals, outspoken lyricism, rich orchestrations and relentless percussion.

Refusing to be confined by a punk-shape box, Freaks pulls inspiration from hardcore and metal to indie and jazz, as heard on their raucous 80HD EP (2022), debut studio album We Talk To Birds (2024) and their most recent EP, the first to feature the new lineup, Malaise (2026).

Beautiful Freaks have headlined a national tour, completed multiple west coast tours, and opened for artists such as Jack White, Chat Pile, Naked Giants and the Rat Utopia Experiment. In 2024, they received a $10,000 grant from the Seattle Sonic Guild.

In 2026 and beyond, Freaks is excited to release new music with the new lineup and continue pushing the boundaries of what punk can be!
