Kelley Smith

Join local songwriter Kelley Smith and her friend, Memphis-native Kelly Hunt on the first night of their duo album release tour. Kelley and Kelly met at a music festival in Iowa several years ago, and have been sharing stages together ever since. Hunt has just released her third record, "Requiem for a Sleepless Night." Smith's first full-length work, "Flowers," releases on Nov. 6. Both will have vinyl (and CD's) available. Sampaguita is one of Smith's most beloved hometown venues. A 'third place" (all are welcome) that celebrates original art in all it's forms. This will be an intimate, seated show. Stories and songs by Smith and Hunt, both seperately and together...and likely some duo banjo-ing. Doors are at 5, music starts at 6pm. BYO snacks and beverages.
