Cameron Tania

Cameron Tania is an award-winning Toronto indie-pop singer-songwriter, performer and music educator known artistically as Toronto’s “Plus Size Pop Princess.” A queer, East Asian, AuDHD and disabled artist, Cameron blends emotionally honest pop songwriting with acoustic influences and theatrical storytelling, creating music that feels intimate, cinematic and deeply human.
Their songs explore heartbreak, healing, mental health, identity, recovery, disability, body image and the complicated work of rebuilding yourself after something changes you. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Sara Bareilles, Ben Platt and Adele, Cameron’s live performances balance vulnerable storytelling with expressive vocals, piano-driven arrangements and emotionally charged pop production.
Cameron was named Songwriter of the Year at the 2022 Oshawa Music Awards, won the 2022 Songs Revealed Songwriting Competition, and has gone on to earn additional performance titles including Diamond in the Rough 2023, V-Star Brampton 2023 and Markham Talent 2025. They have also appeared on CMCTV Talent on CityTV, served as a guest coach with SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival, and built an online community of more than 60,000 followers with over 3.5 million likes across social media.
Following the release of their EP Alone on Fire and 2026 single Lights On, Cameron is currently working on their upcoming album, I Know You’re Watching.
