ICE SEALED EYES is a Belgian New Core band that stands out for its ability to fuse elements of ambient metal with various influences, creating an original and immersive musical experience.
Ice Sealed Eyes has released an ambitious and conceptual trilogy of EPs reunited in their debut album - Altar.
"ALTAR" - is the place where sacred items are kept. A place where the three panels of this triptych, Torments, Fragments and Laments, are united. Each EP tells a different story but everything is intertwined through the presence of strange butterflies, mirrors of ourselves.
Bursting feelings wrote both the words and the music. A deep, introspective dive is taken along themes from profound love, learning self-respect to confronting violent consequences of your acts and finding the strength to let go.
The new releases planned for 2026 are deepening their dark and unsettling lore, traveling through human memories and emotions while addressing themes of mental health and the loss of our loved ones.

What a powerful show! I wasn’t expecting much as I’m not that much into Core, but those guys blew me away.
