AM Shanley

AM Shanley is a Belfast/Paris-based indie-alternative singer-songwriter, composer and producer whose idiosyncratic, cinematic storytelling and genre-bending sound have earned him comparisons to alt rock luminaries like Elliott Smith, Lou Reed and Sparklehorse.

Recently dubbed an "unsung hero" of Belfast music on BBC Radio 6 Music, Shanley’s singular style has led to global touring, sharing bills with artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Hozier, and Destroyer, as well as prominent TV and film placements on Hulu/Disney+ (Extraordinary) and the BBC.

Following the critical success of his NI Music Prize-nominated mini-album American Vanilla, Shanley returns - signing with Tree Song Records - with a sober and sharper edge, and a new album for 2027.

“A sublime songwriter.. a great Irish secret” - BBC 6 Music
