The Slovak National Jazz Orchestra invites you to a Christmas concert featuring a festive evening filled with well-known Christmas melodies in jazz and big-band arrangements. The program will include beloved Christmas carols and songs from Slovakia and around the world, performed primarily in original arrangements by the Slovak National Jazz Orchestra. The evening’s special guest will be the Croatian-German jazz vocalist Daniel Caccia. Daniel Caccia is a prominent figure on the contemporary European jazz and swing scene. Born in Croatia, he has lived in Germany since childhood. He studied jazz vocals at the renowned University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Kunstuniversität Graz) under Grammy-nominated vocalist Dena DeRose. While performing with the German National Youth Jazz Orchestra (Bundesjazzorchester), he received the "Best Young Singer" award from the prestigious American magazine *DownBeat* in 2013. In 2014, he won the Croatian Porin music award for Jazz Album of the Year with the HGM Jazz Orkestar Zagreb, and in 2016, he was nominated for the German ECHO Jazz award in the "Male Vocalist of the Year" category for his debut album, *Lifeline*.
