R.U.M. are a London-based collective blending deep grooves, electrified funk, soulful rock, Latin rhythms and jazz into an exhilarating live show. Born from a Sunday jam session in Kilburn, the band has grown into a powerhouse ensemble built on exceptional musicianship, collaborative songwriting and infectious energy. Featuring musicians from Trinidad, Jamaica, Greece, Dominica, Australia and the UK, R.U.M.'s members have performed and recorded with artists including Johnny Nash, Jimmy Ruffin, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Chaka Khan and Joss Stone. Fronted by the dynamic Ama Lia alongside bassist and co-writer Michael Bailey, the band combines original music with fresh interpretations of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and Parliament-Funkadelic, while drawing inspiration from contemporary acts including Ezra Collective. Phoebe Rea: a singer-songwriter, pianist and keys player whose music brings together nu-jazz, alternative and art-pop with a strong focus on live musicianship and emotional honesty. Her songwriting explores identity, self-worth, relationships and growth, often using music as a way to uncover what she really thinks and feels. Phoebe will be celebrating the release of her new single 'Meet Me There', a piano-led slice of nu-jazz, filled with delicate harmonies and layers of instrumentation and texture. Its busy, whimsical arrangement is constantly shifting, with rhythmic details and unexpected turns that keep the track moving and unfolding as it goes. A compelling live performer, Phoebe has appeared at renowned venues including Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's and Pizza Express Live, as well as festivals such as Truck Festival 2025, earning a reputation for captivating performances that effortlessly blur the lines between jazz, pop and alternative music.
