Chico Chi

Chico Chi (he/they) is a queer and non-binary transmasculine DJ, producer, and proud uncle. He currently splits his time between Minnesota and California, DJing parties, weddings, private events of all kinds, and baby raves. Chi started their DJ journey while organizing events for queer and transgender people of color in the Bay Area with Hunnies & Hot Sauce. He is also the co-founder of the music & creative production house Tender Bois Club and one of the resident DJs and organizers of Take Flight, a global music party based in the Twin Cities. Chico, which means boy in Spanish, is an ode to Chi’s trans identity and Chinese-Cuban roots. From the clubs to private event spaces to now baby raves, this hyphenated identity influences Chi’s eclectic song selection, bringing their multi-genre vibes everywhere they go and leaving listeners pleasantly surprised and wanting more!
