16 Horsepower was an alternative/traditional musical group founded in Denver, Colorado. Their music was usually serious in tone with distinct spiritual lyrics dealing with conflict and redemption. Founding members are David Eugene Edwards, Jean-Yves Tola, and Pascal Humbert. After releasing four studio albums and touring extensively, the band went their separate ways in 2005.
