Andres Ruy

Andres Ruy is a contemporary interpreter of international repertoire, developing an artistic language where emotion, atmosphere and dramatic interpretation take center stage. His repertoire moves freely across musical traditions and languages, bringing together fado, bolero, tango, chanson, jazz, Mediterranean and Ibero-American song, as well as Italian, Greek, Portuguese and Brazilian traditions.

His work is centered on the expressive power of the voice and on songs that carry memory, longing, desire and human experience beyond their original cultural context. Rather than belonging to a single genre, Andres Ruy builds a personal musical universe through an international repertoire, connecting different traditions through contemporary interpretation.
