EXCLUSIVE ALBUM RELEASE EVENT
On 13 November 2026 Kovacs releases Static Tears, her new album and her most forward-facing record to date. Where her earlier work moved between soul and dark, cinematic pop, Static Tears is fully electronic: oldschool electro, vocoders and analog synthesizers, recorded in part in Berlin. It is an album about emotion in a digital age, about authenticity and connection, and about whether technology and feeling can go together. At the same time it is her most personal record.
To mark the release, Kovacs plays one exclusive, intimate show on Tuesday 17 November in the Kleine Zaal of Het Concertgebouw. It is a one-off moment: her full Dutch album tour follows only in autumn 2027, but she did not want the release of Static Tears to pass unmarked. On this evening she celebrates the new record live for the first time, close to the audience.
Expect a cinematic, deeply felt evening in which Kovacs' dark, soulful voice meets the new, electronic sound of Static Tears. A rare chance to experience her up close, on one of the most beautiful stages in the country. Tickets are limited.

Artist bio
Sharon Kovacs is an enigmatic phenomenon. Emerging from the Netherlands, she has forged her own unique path through life’s devious twists and tangles, and entranced the globe with her wicked allure. The Bond-like tango noir of her 2013 EP ‘My Love’, partly recorded in Cuba, was an instant European hit, even reaching Number One in Greece, and in 2015 her debut album ‘Shades Of Black’ charted in 36 countries, making the Top Ten in Germany and hitting Number One in her Dutch homeland.
Sixty million YouTube views, a clutch of awards and high-profile sets at major festivals as Rock am Ring later, Kovacs’ dark, raw, bare-hearted soul with distinct touches of the greats (Holliday, Simone, Bassey, Winehouse, Portishead’s Beth Gibbons) is on the verge of making her a sultry superstar. Her latest album ‘Child Of Sin’ featuring German superstar Till Lindemann (Rammstein) is one of the most open, honest and inspired records to date – like her debut – she is out to find the positive in life’s toughest turns.
In 2025, Kovacs embarks on an exciting next chapter in her career, with new music on the horizon.
