Sol Galarreta

Born in Buenos Aires and based in Germany, Sol Galarreta’s journey in music began in childhood with the guitar, later blossoming into studies of keyboard, piano and voice. Her creative spark first illuminated the Buenos Aires alternative music scene as a member of Atlántica. It was during this time that Sol discovered her profound affinity for Brazilian rhythms and world music, finding inspiration in the vibrant diversity of cultures—a passion that has shaped her artistry ever since.
Seeking new horizons, she relocated to Ibiza, drawn by the island’s magnetic blend of electronica, world, and Balearic sounds. Here, she found the perfect canvas for her versatile spirit, performing live with DJs and forging collaborations with producers, most notably Fous de La Mer. Together, they achieved global recognition with iconic tracks like Conmigo, Never Stop Loving, and Watersong.
Her latest solo album, Travesías (“Crossings”), is a reflection of her soul’s journey—ten original songs written across various landscapes and life chapters. With an organic sound imbued with warmth and sunlight, the album invites listeners to uncover its many treasures. Arranged by Sol alongside Argentine musician and producer Emilio Haro, who also lent his artistry to the production and mixing, the album was brought to life by a collective of gifted musicians.
