Nigel Price

Two of Europe’s most accomplished jazz guitarists come together for an intimate evening of swinging standards, soulful grooves and effortless musical collaboration. Libor Šmoldas and Nigel Price first met eight years ago and immediately discovered a shared musical instinct. Kindred spirits with an irrepressible desire to play straight-ahead, no-nonsense jazz, their sound is firmly rooted in the tradition while carrying unmistakable touches of blues and soul. Performing on guitar and baritone guitar, the duo will explore a carefully chosen selection of jazz standards alongside original compositions. Expect warm tones, spirited improvisation and a deep reverence for the masters, delivered with the pair’s own distinctive character and chemistry.
