Blåly

Driving drum grooves, hypnotic piano patterns and ethereal timbres from bowed double bass craft a stripped back sound world that is simple, immersive and spacious.

Blåly create atmospheric instrumental music with a sound rooted in collaboration and community. Combining gentle lyrical melodies and colorful melancholic harmony, Blåly perform each piece with a textural sound palette, drawing on elements of nordic jazz, folk, hiphop and classical traditions.

In 2024, Blåly released their debut record ‘Nystalgi’ on the acknowledged jazz label April Records. The record was chosen as Album of the Week on Danish national radio and critically acclaimed by national and international media and newspapers. Blåly has since performed a wide range of sold out shows.

The band's second album 'Resonans' releases on October 23rd 2026 through April Records.
