About this concert
7:00 PM GMT+1
This is a celebration. A gathering of the fun, the silly, the unapologetically carefree. Tomodachi ☆ Kimitachi isn’t just a mixtape, it’s the brainchild of all my favourite people in a body of work, and with the help of Youth Music’s Next Gen Fund, and Roundhouse’s Resident Artist Programme, the due date is approaching. We simply must throw a party to welcome her into the world!
For one night only, we’re taking over Davey Studio at The Roundhouse as part of their legendary Roundhouse Rising series (you might remember it as ‘studio season’, same energy, new name). You are going to want to bring comfy clothes that you can jump around in, that being said, we love an elaborate fashion statement that renders you completely ornamental and motionless. Ideally come as your true self, but if all else fails, pick a personality out of a hat and run with it.
Expect infectious energy, questionable lyrics and lots of gay people! This is music made for smiling, dancing, and forgetting about the real world for a few hours (please). Whether you’re coming with your best mate or flying solo, Tomodachi ☆ Kimitachi means “All of you guys, Friends” so by buying a ticket you have signed a binding contract in which you are now my friend forever. (For legal reasons, I have been advised to include this clear disclaimer – That last statement is in no way true.)

Artist bio
Carδamo is an independent queer artist backed by BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar, The AVA and Kloud Management. Their music champions the LGBTQ+ community while also stylistically referencing Popular and Internet Sub-cultures alongside their Italian and Cypriot heritage. Cardamon Rozzi aims to test listeners’ idea of what “music” is supposed to be by exaggerating one or many characteristics in the creative process. With this, they routinely create new, visceral thematic worlds inspired by otherwise vague concepts for their audience to lose themselves in.
