About this concert
6:30 PM GMT+1
Sunday Service, end your weekend with a bang with live sets from two of West London's hottest acts! Lua Sol will be bringing an explosive set that mixes R&B, soul, and jazz to form their own unique sound. Expect tracks from their debut EP Alcove Moon alongside brand-new material that captures the spirit of their intimate, organic musical sessions. The Living Room Collective is a harmonious blend of soulful vocals and rap with deep beats, nu-jazz funk and improvised electronica, taking audiences on a journey from life in the city to escape in the countryside with an eclectic set of originals. Founded by local jazz-head and multi-instrumentalist Steve Maud, featuring Bekka Blake on vocals, Stef Chandler on bass ukulele, Shay Lewis on electric guitar, Adrian French on flugelhorn and Rapper/Vocalist Reuben Ason. Music for the mind, body & soul.

Artist bio
Formed by Ed Weston on drums and Jordan McLoughlin on bass, Lua Sol emerged as many did through the mist of the Covid Epidemic and the world lockdown. With the addition of Rich Davis on keys they came together through a shared love of the music played on BBC Radio 6 on saturday afternoons by DJs Jamz Supernova, Gilles Peterson and Craig Charles.

Joined by Tom Prescott on guitar and Sophie Koranteng on vocals, in their formative months Lua Sol centred around the Neo Soul movement using a mix of live and digital instrumentation, often experimental but with the view to create accessible music.

The arrival of Emma Carryl to the lineup taking over the lead vocal role saw the band move into a more organic sound drawing increasingly on jazz influences, and continued to grow and find new energy when Tom Spencer took over on guitar.

Lua Sol's first EP Alcove Moon was mostly recorded during one session in London in June 2024, with other parts recorded the same year. 'We recorded everything in one take to capture the essence and energy of playing together'. Self produced, the EP was released in 2025 on their WPM label.
