Artist bio
ELYSIUM, a 5-piece indie rock band hailing from the Gold Coast, are bringing the best of the British alternative music scene to the eastern coast of Australia. Formed in early 2024, this eclectic and youthful band combines Britpop, shoegaze and post-punk into their own sound. After spending nearly 2 years writing, practising, and perfecting their craft, ELYSIUM and its newly established line-up are a regular sight amongst the Gold Coast and Brisbane scenes. The band’s newly appointed frontman Thomas Smith leads the way, supported by songwriter/rhythm guitarist Tommy Morgan, Joel Hoy, the lead guitarist, Sam Cuthbert, the bass player, and Nic Fiore on drums. With their recent momentum, ELYSIUM are set to release their upcoming debut single, “Familiar” on September 25th.
