Artist bio
The Hookz, an eclectic rock band from Virginia Beach, have been captivating audiences with their high-energy performances and genre-blurring sound since 2016. Rooted in old-school rock ’n’ roll with touches of alt-rock and funk, their music has evolved into a more refined, acoustic-driven approach that highlights their songwriting and musicianship.
Known for their improvisational weekly sets, the band has built a loyal following with acoustic trio or duo performances that showcase dynamic guitar work, introspective lyrics, and a raw, authentic feel.
Whether on stage or in more intimate acoustic settings, The Hookz continue to evolve, embracing a more stripped-back sound while remaining a standout in the Virginia Beach music scene.
