Eve Buckley

Leeds based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Eve Buckley combines a rich hybrid of alternative-soul and jazz infused pop in her work. Capturing the tapestry of notions that arise as a woman navigating young adulthood, her timeless vocals and sentimental soundscapes are reminiscent of her inspirations including Lianne La Havas, Jordan Rakei and Yazmin Lacey.

Eve met producer Alex Williams whilst studying for a BA (Hons) in Popular Music at Leeds Conservatoire, marking the beginning of a unique collaboration to create Eve’s authentic recorded sound rooted in elegant writing and luscious production. Her debut EP, ‘Some Kind of Solace’ released independently in February this year, preceded by the singles ‘Big Shot’, ‘Peace of Mind’, and ‘Tongue Tied’. The EP has received nearly half a million streams to date, as well as support from Spotify with numerous singles landing on the New Music Friday UK, Jazz UK, Fresh Finds UK & IE, and Sweet Soul Sunday playlists. It has also received airplay and support from BBC Introducing, Jazz FM, and Global Soul Radio as well as acclaim from Fresh On The Net, Dead Good Music, Overblown Magazine, and Chalkpit Cassette Club, who produced a limited-edition run of the EP on cassette tape.

Pursuing a live-first agenda and playing around 30 shows already this year, Eve’s all-consuming storytelling and distinctive voice have captivated audiences across Leeds and the UK. She has supported the likes of Rosie Frater Taylor, Jamilah Barry, and Children of Zeus, and landed a slot at Live at Leeds In the City last year. She completed a sold out debut EP launch tour around the UK this year and in October she will support Zurich based R&B artist KEZA in London, and will make a return to London Jazz Festival in November. Eve is currently working on new music for release in 2026.
