Eric Alexander

Eric Alexander is one of the defining tenor saxophonists in modern straight-ahead jazz. He performed, recorded and toured extensively with Harold Mabern, Pat Martino, McCoy Tyner, George Coleman and many others. In 1991 he placed second in the Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition and since then he has released more than 50 albums as a leader, and hundreds of recordings as a sideman. He keeps a relentless performing and recording schedule out of New York. He is officially a BetterSax artist, and he plays the BetterSax Session Tenor.
