The Kyd G is a Dublin-based Irish artist and producer carving out his own space between hip-hop, R&B, rap and alternative sounds. Hailing from Blanchardstown, his music is built around sharp lyricism, infectious hooks and a natural ability to move between melody and rap without being confined to one genre.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Drake, Smino, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Vince Staples, The Kyd G blends elements of hip-hop, R&B, gospel, trap, Afropop and electronic music into a sound that is distinctly his own. His versatility is reflected throughout his catalogue.
