blend house

blend house is the solo project of singer-songwriter HiROKI, based in Tokushima, Japan.

Founded in 2023, blend house combines City Pop, contemporary Soul and R&B with traditional Japanese instruments, Showa-era music, and classic J-Pop to create a nostalgic yet modern sound.

The debut single "Awa no Odoriko" was released in July 2023, followed by the first EP "Bochi Bochi Ikimashou" in October 2025. The EP features acclaimed musicians including South London producer edbl, accobin (formerly of Chatmonchy), and SWING-O.

blend house has been featured on official Spotify playlists, including RADAR: Early Noise. The independently released 7-inch vinyl of "Awa no Odoriko" sold out all 250 copies, while the 12-inch vinyl of "Bochi Bochi Ikimashou" has sold over 300 copies.

Now reaching audiences across Japan and Asia, blend house blends the culture of Tokushima with grooves from around the world, sharing a fresh vision of Japanese pop music.
