Cal Volpe

After my University hockey playing days came to a close, I found love for playing all types of music from Rock, Folk, and Blues, to Hip Hop, Jazz, and R&B. Drawing from influences all over the spatial and temporal world, I incorporate a variety of sonic elements into my music, from John Mayer-esque guitar rhythms, Mac Miller’s lyricism, and Ed Sheeran’s vocal melodies. The guitar-based landscape of my music explores the vast space between retro and modern, diving into stories of discipline, hardship, love, and spirituality.
