Artist bio
arc (Adrian Aitken, Stephen Venkatarangam, and occasional collaborators) is a Montreal-based experimental music project creating immersive, genre-blurring soundscapes that move between rhythm, texture, and atmosphere. Blending electric guitar, sitar, flute, and drums and modular synths, their music balances structure with spontaneity and a strong focus on live, in-the-moment performance.
They recently released Inner Limits (2025), a project that highlights their evolving, intuitive approach to sound. arc headlined the Prairie Wires electronic and experimental festival in Manitoba, Canada, in September 2025, and will be a featured artist at the Relics Music ( formerly Evolve, and a staple Canadian festival) in Nova Scotia in 2026.
