Marta Zalewska is a Polish singer-songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer. For years, she has been consistently developing her own musical language, fearlessly blending folk, country, rock, jazz and classical influences into a distinctive, genre-defying sound.
A classically trained violinist and graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Marta moves freely between songwriting, live performance, studio production and composition for theatre. She has released several solo albums and collaborated with numerous artists on the Polish music scene. She is also the co-founder of the bands Woodlore and let’s end it.
Her latest solo project, “Proste historie”, is her most personal musical statement to date. Rooted in acoustic instruments, American folk and country traditions, and shaped by a distinctly Slavic melodic sensibility, the songs focus on stories, emotions and the beauty of everyday life. In her solo concerts, Marta sings and plays multiple instruments, creating an intimate and organic live experience where music and storytelling become one.
2026 marks Marta’s 30th anniversary as an artist — a milestone celebrated with the release and live presentation of “Proste historie”.
