The Donovan Twins

THE DONOVAN TWINS are a folk rock & Americana band based out of Columbia, South Carolina. Twin brothers Aidan Donovan (guitar, vocals) and Bennett Donovan (banjo, guitar, vocals) have been playing music together since the age of twelve, crafting their honest lyrics and soul-stirring harmonies for over ten years. In 2024, The Donovan Twins welcomed the release of their first singles, “10-4” and “Thieves (Demo Version)” across all major streaming platforms with “10-4” debuting on independent alternative radio.

The Donovan Twins have since seen success as a full band while also staying rooted in their original sound through performances as a duo. Recent breakthrough full-band live performances include opening for Sister Hazel, Shovels & Rope, The Crowe Boys. The Donovan Twins have also played music festivals with national touring talent including the Songbird Music Festival and the St. Pats in 5-Points Music Festival.

Preston Hage (Drums), Sutton Jenkins (Bass), and David Meade (Guitar) began playing live shows with The Donovan Twins in 2025. As a duo, the Twins performed at Darius Rucker’s Southern State of Mind concert and fundraiser for University of South Carolina athletics. They also performed at the reception for the naming of USC’s McCausland College of Arts and Sciences and have performed at bars, breweries, and parties across South Carolina. They recorded their debut EP in March of 2026 and look forward to releasing it soon!
