Artist bio
Asia Ruby is an Ottawa-born singer-songwriter who returned home in 2025 and spent a year recording songs written over her travels for her debut album, The Quiet or the View (March 8, 2026). A multi-instrumentalist on piano, flute, and guitar, she crafts lo-fi folk music with bold songwriting. Her live project, Asia Ruby and the Rubies, is supported by lead guitar (Micki Kaufman), bass (Aaron Rogers), drums (Austin Campbell), and keys (Clementine Dunning). Their heartfelt lyrical melodies and dynamic instrumental arrangements create a unique brand of rock-infused folk.
