„Kairos“ bringt die Prosagedichte von Nellie Hächler und die Musik ihres Vaters Nils Wogram in einen ungewöhnlichen Dialog – nicht als Vater-Tochter-Projekt, sondern als Begegnung zweier eigenständiger Künstlerpersönlichkeiten auf Augenhöhe. Gemeinsam mit Philipp Schaufelberger und Anna Trauffer entsteht ein organisches Quartett, in dem Wort und Klang gleichberechtigt nebeneinanderstehen und sich gegenseitig inspirieren. Hächlers pointierte Texte über Alltägliches, Erinnerungen und Beobachtungen treffen auf Wograms Musik, die sie nicht begleitet, sondern auf einer eigenen nonverbalen Ebene weiterdenkt. So entsteht ein vielschichtiges Zusammenspiel voller Spielfreude, leiser Melancholie und überraschender Perspektiven. „Kairos“ ist ein Plädoyer für Entschleunigung und einen freien Raum zwischen Jazz und Poesie, in dem sich Gedanken und Klänge ganz selbstverständlich begegnen.

Artist bio
Nils Wogram is regarded as one of Europe’s leading jazz musicians. He performs regularly at major international festivals and tours worldwide, both with his own ensembles and as a featured soloist. He is widely recognized for his highly virtuosic trombone playing, his distinctive and original compositions, and his work as a bandleader, shaping long-standing groups with a unique ensemble sound.
In 2010, Wogram founded his own label, nwog-records, which has since become the home for his releases. His bands exclusively perform his own music, while he also collaborates with other ensembles in a variety of contexts.
