Artist bio
Welsh melodic techno artist Spryt Electra brings analogue synthesiser warmth and hardware-focussed live energy to every show — nostalgic synth-pop melodies, driving techno beats and sublime but catchy hooks, performed live on real synths and drum machines.
Latest releases include "Will You Love Me?", "I Feel You" and "Thats The Way" (21 Space Records and Deep Down Dirty Records).
Spryt Electra (Simon Prytherch) has been obsessed with analogue synthesisers since saving paper round money at 13 for a vintage Korg 700S. In his early musical career in the 80s and 90s he had John Peel airplay, designed iconic rave-club flyers and VJed at raves for thousands. After many years in video games, living in Berlin reignited everything — and Spryt Electra was born.
He is also a co-founder of Thames Valley EMOM, championing grassroots electronic music across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
