Artist bio
Lake Porter is a powerhouse singer-songwriter trio from Kingston, Ontario, carving out a bold and beautiful space where Country, Folk Americana, and Rock & Roll collide. What began as a casual collaboration between friends quickly ignited into something much bigger - a sound too electric to stay behind closed doors.
Featuring the rich vocal chemistry of Martina Lake, Taryn McKenna, and Jonny Porter, the band delivers a distinctive blend of acoustic soul, banjo-laced anthems, and soaring violin melodies.
Though only in their second year as a band, Lake Porter is already making serious waves. They’ve opened for The Glorious Sons at Prince Edward County’s iconic Base31 Drill Hall, brought down the house at the 2025 Tall Pines Festival, and most recently took the stage alongside Canadian rock legends The Trews. They were also a top 8 finalist in the 2025 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist competition.
Fresh on the scene but rising fast, Lake Porter isn’t just turning heads - they’re leaving a mark.
