VidlaviV — Barok in de Breedte — reaches Theater Kaleidoskoop in Nieuwkoop. The programme takes its name from Maxim Shalygin's “Idlaviv” (2024); his “Ground” (2025) stands beside it, both written for an instrument the Baroque never knew.
The evening moves between the authentic and the newly made: Michael Nyman's Quartet no. 2, Bach's Concerto in A minor BWV 593 after Vivaldi, Vivaldi's Sinfonia al Santo Sepolcro RV 169, Reza Namavar's Betoverde Vaatwasser Suite and Telemann's Sonata a 4 TWV 40:200.
Tickets €27.50, including an interval drink.
