Ramsay Rawson

Ramsay Casadesus Rawson is a French-American singer and guitarist based in Paris whose work explores the intersection of bossa nova, jazz, chanson, bolero and classic samba traditions. Inspired by the great microphone singers of the mid-20th century, he performs in multiple languages in settings that favor warmth, atmosphere and close listening. Developed between Paris, New York and Latin America, his live project Paris Bossa Nova draws inspiration from the French-Brazilian cultural exchanges of the 1960s Left Bank era. Ramsay performs regularly in Paris and internationally, with recent appearances including Tokyo and New York as well as venues such as Sunset Sunside, Maison de l’Amérique Latine and the Musée de Montmartre.
