The Talking Hours are an alternative/electronic rock duo from Albuquerque, formed in 2015 by musicians Mauricio and Karie. Known for their high-energy live shows and genre-blending sound, they fuse elements of rock, blues, punk, metal, and electronic music into a style that resists easy categorization. Driven by a minimalist two-person setup, the band emphasizes experimentation—pushing how much sound and intensity a duo can create while staying true to themes of self-expression, resilience, and personal growth.
