About this concert
7:30 PM GMT+111 Going
In his new solo show, Pete Josef brings together for the first time the three key threads that have shaped his creative life: an ever-present foundation in soul music, more driving dance material, and rootsier, guitar-led songwriting.
With a focus on intimacy and connection, Josef transitions from solo and stripped-back to a tech-heavy sound world that brings in familiar signatures from his studio albums. Mixing new and unheard material with favourites from the albums Colour, I Rise with the Birds, and the2026 Lifeline/Defence double.

What fans are saying
Caught Pete Josef live for the second time, and this gig was something truly special. Held in a tiny wine cellar at the Saddle Goose Winery for an audience of just 22 people, it was about as intimate as live music gets.
Sitting right above the wine barrels with really low ceilings, I initially worried the acoustics might be a bit muddy or cluttered—but the sound was absolutely flawless.
Pete played a phenomenal two-part set (two 40-minute halves) switching between acoustic guitar and a tiny keyboard. His voice is simply incredible live; he commands the room effortlessly. The absolute highlight was his cover of Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On. Very few artists can genuinely pull off a Marvin Gaye track without it feeling like a cheap imitation, but Pete absolutely nailed it.
