Remsen Social Club

After dabbling in the local bluegrass scene and being disappointed by the lack of variety Bryan Davies decided to start a project of his own. His first call was to his brother Nicholas Burns (guitar) and his second was to life long friend Timothy Slusarczyk (bass). The first four months were spent shuffling through members but the core of the band remained the same. In June 2012 singer/guitarist Ben Carrier sat in with the band for a practice and something sparked. The group took the name Remsen Social Club as a tribute to the friends they grew up with and began in earnest to craft their own sound. In June 2013 RSC adopted harpist Chris Taylor into their ranks and currently are booking shows, festivals and campfires in the upstate New York area . bastardizing bluegrass since 2011
