Caelan Cardello

AN accomplished jazz pianist, Caelan brought a verve and a dynamic presence for an audience of audiophiles, that were duly impressed. His improv with the contrabass and drummer-percussionist, whom he had only met a couple hours prior for soundchecks, were in sync, and were clearly listening to one another regarding their parts. At one point the monitors on the keyboard were turned down from the mixing board, to enable to beautiful Steinway and Sons piano he was playing to fill the room itself, without need for the amplification. Caelan has a bright future ahead. Definitely, buy the ticket. I bought his album! Share with friends. He put on a delightful, uplifting performance, and he would expectedly remain consistent, if not improving in stage presence, as well as technical abilities. I especially liked his renditions of Steppin' Up and John Neely - long improv vehicles that enable to musicians to play off of one another back and forth, and aligned with one another while demonstrating their unique skills. Jam on!
