Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band is an RMR No. 1 and Cashbox Top 10 bluegrass act formed in West Virginia, with an authentic mountain sound that has earned them a reputation as "mainstream bluegrass at its best" (Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine) and "the heartbeat of American roots music" (The Bluegrass Jamboree).
Led by vocalist and bassist Libby Files, Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band pays homage to a simpler time when front porch picking and gospel-tinged harmonies were the heart of rural community gatherings. They launched their career opening for country legend Loretta Lynn and have continued to deliver authentic Appalachian bluegrass, blending original compositions with classic favorites that evoke the spirit of the Appalachian Mountains.
The band has achieved multiple chart milestones, including two months in Cashbox Bluegrass Top 10, seven No. 1 singles on Roots Music Report, No. 1 bluegrass song of the year (RMR), and No. 1 bluegrass album for four weeks (RMR).
