Artist bio
Sheenah Ko est une artiste pop électronique originaire de Toronto et de Maui, maintenant basé au Saguenay. Elle a connu une grande carrière en parcourant les scènes internationales avec The Besnard Lakes, Bedouin Soundclash, Kevin Hearn (du Barenaked Ladies) avant de se lancer dans sa carrière solo. Son premier album, "Nowhere In Time", s'est classé dans le top 10 des classements radio nationaux pour musique électro. Son vidéoclip, "Wrap Me Up", a remporté le prix de la meilleure chorégraphie (face à Beyoncé) en 2021 et a été nominé aux Juno Awards 2021. Son deuxième album indépendant, "Future Is Now," vient de remporter l'Album Pop de l'Année au GAMIQ 2023. II est accompagné de 7 courts métrages, également nominés pour plusieurs prix aux Festival de Film Filministes et aux GAMIQ. En 2024, Ko sort son 3em album indépendante qui s'appelle Transformation, un album complètement bilingue co-produit avec Félix
