Sounds of Seattle: Volume 2 returns to the birthplace of grunge for an unforgettable weekend celebrating the music, history, and spirit of Seattle. December 3-6, join legendary guitarist Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, iconic Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil, and renowned drummer Dave Krusen, formerly of Pearl Jam, along with additional special guests to be announced, for an immersive Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp experience unlike any other. Whether you’re a beginner picking up an instrument for the first time or an experienced musician looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll spend four incredible days rehearsing, jamming, performing, and learning from the artists who helped define one of rock’s most influential eras. Campers will enjoy masterclasses, Q&A sessions, songwriting workshops, band rehearsals, and the opportunity to perform live on an iconic stage with rock legends. From the raw power of Seattle’s legendary sound to the camaraderie of fellow music lovers, Sounds of Seattle: Volume 2 is more than a camp—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live the music of an era with the original contributors. All ages and all playing levels are welcome. Come make music, make memories, and become part of Seattle rock history! Preparing for Camp Prior to camp, you’ll be asked to do a skill evaluation call with our musical director. From there, we’ll place you in a band with fellow participants based on your skill level. Your band will be assigned a rock star counselor who will mentor you all four days, preparing you to jam with the headliners, and play your two live shows! During camp, you and your bandmates will rehearse with your counselor, and jam with musical legends in a high-energy, creative environment. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just starting out, this immersive experience will elevate your skills and confidence. Two Live Performances Show off your skills with a final performance at the legendary Central Saloon—take the stage with your band and perform for a live audience alongside real rock stars. Artist bio
Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal is a celebrated guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer, and educator with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for his groundbreaking techniques, his innovative guitar style includes fretless guitar, and 'thimble technique' (playing with a metal cap on his finger to extend the range of notes)

Bumblefoot's band credits include lead singer and guitarist of the legendary progressive rock band Asia (2019, with Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, Steve Howe and Billy Sherwood), guitarist of progressive rock band Sons Of Apollo (2017 - 2022, with Mike Portnoy, Derek Sherinian, Billy Sheehan and Jeff Scott Soto), rock group Art Of Anarchy (2011 - 2024, formerly including STP/Velvet Revolver vocalist Scott Weiland, Creed vocalist Scott Stapp and Disturbed bassist John Moyer), and progressive metal group Whom Gods Destroy (with Derek Sherinian, Dino Jelusick, Yas Nomura and Bruno Valverde), as well as sharing the stage with Nancy Sinatra, Brian May, Joe Satriani, Lita Ford, members of KISS, Van Halen, and many more. As lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses (2006 - 2014), Bumblefoot toured sold-out shows all over the world, headlining festivals with crowds up to 150,000. Bumblefoot's unique 'fretless guitar' can be heard throughout Guns N' Roses' 2008 Chinese Democracy album.

Bumblefoot is also an accomplished composer whose music is often heard in TV, film and video games, including the theme song to VH1's "That Metal Show". Bumblefoot is an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Purchase College teaching music production, runs international "Bumblefoot Music Camps", works with U.S. Embassies around the world on cross-cultural music programs, has his own line of award-winning hot sauces, and works with dozens of international charities visiting orphanages and children's hospitals around the world with guitar in hand.
